Milgaard Inquiry
One of the little known bits of information to come from the Milgaard inquiry concerned the activities of Sgt. Tidsbury. Prior to the Mindy Tran case, Sgt. Tidsbury was a highly connected special investigator. The following documents found in the archives from the recent inquiry expose Tidsbury's connections to the strangest events to be found in any of the inquiry documents. It is noted that Larry Fisher the man later convicted of this crime, was a suspected RCMP informant.
1. Tidsbury re-interviews two witnesses who had suspiciously both falsely implicated Milgaard with the same story. Tidsbury works together with a representative from the federal justice department.
2 Tidsbury takes one witness to Ottawa for an experimental hypnosis session.
3The
witness is then sent to a United States Military institution for a session with
a prominent psychiatrist, a noted expert in hypnosis.

Quote: "Dr. Martin Orne [45][46] is one of the leading experts on hypnosis of the 20th century. For about 30 years, he was the editor of The International Journal of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis. He is one of two psychiatrists professionally active into the late 1990’s who is a documented CIA mind control contractor, along with Dr. Louis Jolyon West. [47] Dr. West, who killed an elephant with LSD [48] at Oklahoma City Zoo, had TOP SECRET clearance with the CIA and the military. P. 81, 121, 124"
RCMP Dep. Com. Bev Busson was sent to take over the Saskatchewan North Battleford RCMP station at this same time that Sgt Tidsbury began his involvement. N. Battleford was the home town of Larry Fisher, suspected RCMP informant later convicted of the crime in which Milgaard had been convicted. Fisher had been secretly convicted of multiple rapes in this town following the murder of Gail Miller in Saskatoon.

The following are some of the documents showing the involvement and activities of Sgt. Tidsbury and the special investigators in this case. The stories of the witnesses who had implicated Milgaard originally were being discussed during much of the questioning.
